Christiana has over twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries as a process engineer, validation consultant, and Cleaning Validation Subject Matter Expert. As contract consultant, she has performed equipment qualification and cleaning validation at a variety of different facilities, including solid oral dose, biologics and vaccine manufacturing.

In her current role, she is responsible for management and development of the cleaning validation program at Vertex in Boston, Massachusetts. This has involved the development of an automated cleaning program for more than a dozen load configurations of wash racks in a walk-in automated parts washer. She has driven the gap assessment and improvement of the cleaning validation program and defended the program in multiple inspections and audits.
