Margaret is the Director of Computer Software Assurance for Taiho Oncology, Inc. and completed the transition of Taiho’s validation program from the traditional CSV approach to the CSA methodology at the end of 2023. She completed the conversion to paperless validation at the end of 2024. Prior to arriving at Taiho in 2022, she worked for J&J Consumer Health and McNeil Consumer Health in their R&D Quality & Compliance group for 10+ years, taking on increasing responsibility. Prior to that, she worked for Merck Research Laboratories and Schering-Plough Research Institute in Instrumentation Sciences and Analytical Development for a combined 11+ years. Prior to that, she was a post-doctoral associate in the Chemistry Department at the U Penn for 2 years. Academically, she has completed her BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Chestnut Hill College, PA), MS in Chemistry (Villanova U, PA) PhD in Bio-Organic Chemistry (U of Maryland at College Park, MD), and MBA (U of Maryland Global Campus). She also holds certifications from ASQ for Quality Auditor and Quality Engineer, and has taken multiple online courses on Digital Transformation, Data Science and Analytics. Her professional interests are Validation Methodologies and Emerging Technologies (including AI and ML).
