Ray Murphy, Fellow Software Engineer for Boston Scientific with over 30 years’ experience in software quality and software validation. Ray is a member of the FDA Industry Computer Software Assurance (FICSA) team since 2017 and is widely recognized as a subject matter expert and thought leader on non-device software validation

Ray joined Boston Scientific in 2007 and currently works with the Global Software Quality team where he is responsible for all non-device software validation processes. His role involves implementing strategic quality initiatives as well as setting corporate quality policies and standards relating to non-device software. This responsibility includes not only ensuring Boston Scientific’s lifecycles are compliant with applicable regulations but also are sufficiently agile to ensure that software validation is an activity that adds value.
