Ratul Saha, PhD, Director of Global Sterility Assurance Programs at Bausch & Lomb has over 14 years of experience in the field of microbiology, contamination control-sterility assurance, and compliance. He has expertise in a wide range of areas including inspection readiness, development of contamination control strategy, facility, utility, and equipment design and engineering, risk assessments, sterilization technologies, cleaning and disinfection, rapid microbiological methods, microbial deviation investigations, environmental monitoring, microbial identification, and biofilms. He worked with ophthalmics, live microbiome products, viral vectors, traditional biologics, small molecules, and large-volume parenteral and medical devices (contact lens, surgical, dialysis). Aim to speak complex ideas of microbiology in simple language providing solutions to microbiology and sterility assurance-related issues in pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, and medical devices manufacturing and QC laboratories.
