Mohamed Elsayed is a visionary leader in the Industrial Engineering discipline. He has over a decade of extensive experience in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, capacity planning, supply chain operations, and shop floor optimization, throughout his career in the quality, manufacturing, and industrial engineering fields working in the aerospace and medical device industries.

Mohamed holds both BS and MS in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering. During the pursuit of his master’s degree at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, he dedicated his efforts to a groundbreaking master’s thesis. His research focused on enhancing health clinic operations through the application of simulation-based value stream mapping methodology. This academic endeavor, coupled with his rich work experience, has established his expertise in turning theoretical concepts into practical, real-world solutions.

Mohamed joined Dexcom in late 2020 as the leader of an industrial engineering team with a primary focus on digitalizing Dexcom’s operations. Their mission is to provide innovative solutions for complex business decisions by leveraging discrete event simulation models.

Mohamed will speak at the KENX Medical Device Validation University conference in Anaheim, CA, on October 24-26 as he will share his experiences, strategies, and innovative solutions that have reshaped Dexcom operations.
