Lizzandra Rivera

Director, IT Quality at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Lizzandra Rivera is a pharmaceutical professional with over 20 years of experience in validation and quality compliance.  A Chemical Engineer graduate from the University of Puerto Rico, she has provided strategic leadership and tactical implementation to establish a wide range of computerized systems and equipment through their computer systems validations assuring regulatory compliance is maintained throughout the systems’ lifecycles.  She has a well-rounded background encompassing manufacturing, IT and quality assurance.

Mrs. Rivera joined Alexion Pharmaceuticals (New Haven, CT) in 2014 where she currently holds the position of  Director, Quality – IT and is  the CSV Program Manager.  She leads a global team that provides quality oversight, strategic direction and pragmatic tactics for the establishment and management of GxP computerized systems throughout Alexion.
