LAURA M. SKRIEF is a Director in the PwC LLP Forensic Services Practice in New York with over thirteen years of experience. She provides accounting, auditing and investigative experience to attorneys and clients. Laura has assisted attorneys and clients in high profile FCPA and Securities Litigation investigations, specializing in forensic accounting projects. Laura has experience in conducting FCPA Compliance reviews and investigations, acquisition FCPA due diligence, developing and delivering FCPA Compliance training, and assisting with monitoring and remediation programs. Additionally, she also has significant experience on international and domestic assignments relating to matters involving: SEC investigations, forensic accounting assignments, accounting fraud, accounting malpractice, asset misappropriation, embezzlement, internal audit investigations, arbitrations, purchase price disputes and evaluation of alleged fraudulent activities. Laura’s experience covers a broad range of industries, including Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Financial Services, Technology, Industrial Products, Consumer Services, Automotive and Retail. Laura obtained her undergraduate degree from Villanova University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is licensed to practice in New York.
