With over 25 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, regulatory, operations, and process support in the food, feed, beverage, dietary supplement, fermentation, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and healthcare industries, Laura Farrell has specialized in laboratory management and safety, regulatory and customer compliance as well as the improvement of manufacturing plant performance, capabilities, and contamination control.  She has experience with the FDA, DEA, Department of Health, Department of Agriculture, Department of Environmental Protection, QAI, OU, IFANCA, USDA, IBWA, SQF, FSSC 22000, FAMI-QS, ISO 17025, ISO 9001 as well as the USP, EP and JP. As the Quality Manager for Azzur Labs, Laura is responsible for documentation review, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the QMS, thorough investigation of deviations, non conformances, and complaints, change controls, RCAs, both internal/external and client/regulatory audits, and promoting a culture of quality service excellence.  Laura has a BS in Biology from Millersville University and a BSMT from Sacred Heart Hospital School of Medical Technology. Laura is registered with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Board of Registry, an SQF Practitioner, a Preventative Controls Qualified Individual, HACCP certified, and a recipient of the Tribute to Women and Industry Award.
