Temple University School of Pharmacy, Associate Director in Global Regulatory Affairs, Johnson & Johnson


Karen Zimm is currently an adjunct professor for Temple University, School of Pharmacy teaching multiple classes for the Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance master’s degree program.  She is also an Associate Director for Janssen Pharmaceuticals (Johnson & Johnson) with responsibility for Chemistry Manufacturing & Controls for marketed products and API’s.  Previously she has held positions in Technical Operations with Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, Research & Development for the R.W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute and Whitehall Robins Healthcare (Wyeth Consumer Products).  She earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and PhD in Pharmaceutics from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science.   She also earned a MS in RA/QA from Temple University and a MBA in Pharmaceutical Management from Drexel University. She is an active member of AAPS, RAPS and the advisory board of the Journal of Validation Technology & GXP’s.
