Karen Zimm is currently an adjunct professor for Temple University, School of Pharmacy teaching multiple classes for the Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance master’s degree program. She is an Associate Director for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine with responsibility for Chemistry Manufacturing & Controls for marketed products and API’s. Previously she has held positions in Technical Operations with Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, Research & Development for the R.W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute and Whitehall Robins Healthcare (Wyeth Consumer Products). She earned her BS in Pharmacy and PhD in Pharmaceutics from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. She also earned a MS in RA/QA from Temple University and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management from Drexel University. She is an active member of AAPS and RAPS.
