Dan Spicehandler

VP Commercial Compliance – Divisions, Global Compliance and Privacy, Stryker

Dan leads a team of compliance officers supporting the 11 commercial businesses across Stryker. Together with his global counterparts, Dan is responsible for developing and implementing a proactive program to partner with the business to support growth and manage compliance risk. Prior to Stryker Dan was the US Compliance Officer for Sanofi Pasteur and held leadership positions across compliance and legal at Novo Nordisk and Meda Pharmaceuticals (now Mylan). Dan began his career with Polaris Management Partners (now IQVIA) and Reed Smith LLP. Dan is a graduate of Union College and Fordham University School of Law, where he currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board for Compliance Programs and as an Adjunct Professor in the Program on Corporate Ethics and Compliance.
