Amy Wong implements and coordinates CMC activities, introduces process improvements, and strengthens relationships between CMOs and internal cross-functional teams.  Her ability is a result of years of diverse drug development experience (formulations, process development, contract manufacturing, analytical methods development and validation, release and stability testing, outsourcing, compliance auditing, regulatory submissions, and cross-functional team project coordination) and the variety of dosage forms that she has supported (cell and gene therapies, large and small molecules, extended/controlled-release formulations, powder, lyophilized, parenteral and oral dosage forms, syringes, transdermal patches, creams, gels, and foams).  She has held diverse roles at Bay Area companies (Chiron, IntraBiotics, Durect, Gilead, Sangamo, and currently Arcutis) and has a B.A. in Molecular Cell Biology with an emphasis in Biochemistry from U.C. Berkeley.
