As Executive Director of the Global Quality – Information Technology Quality Assurance group, Al leads BMS’s GxP IT Quality Assurance Unit with oversight of enterprise computerized systems across the end-to-end product lifecycle (development through commercial).  This includes an independent audit function in partnership with other program leads (GMP/GDP, GVP, GCP, GLP), enterprise computerized system compliance and assurance, and computer system validation quality assurance.  Al has over 25 years of Information Technology and Quality Assurance experience with a diverse background in business, Information, and technology architecture, solution engineering and delivery, IT auditing, computer system validation, project management, professional development and leadership.

Strategic Importance & Impact: To assure both our internal organization and external partners comply with current IT control standards and Health Authority Regulations in support of our mission to deliver innovative medicines for our patients.  Represent BMS in interactions with Health Authorities regarding computerized systems compliance.

Al resides in Manalapan, New Jersey and in his little spare time, enjoys his family time, vacations, and his passion for smart technology.
