Dr. Jared R. Auclair

I am a fierce advocate of lifelong learning, focused on empowering all people to access opportunity. As an academic leader, I recognize that to do this we must embrace learners as whole people – not just students. And we must meet them where they are to build bridges, remove barriers, and expand pathways that build equity, so we all have the potential to realize our own definition of success and transform our futures. Bridging academic, scientific, and business domains, I serve several leadership roles at Northeastern University, including Interim Dean for the College of Professional Studies – long known as the “college of access.” No matter our roles, we all have a responsibility to make the most of our privilege and our blessings to lift up others in service to something greater than ourselves. It is my humble goal to live that out in all areas of my life – as a scientist, a dean, a business leader, an innovator, an active member of my faith community, and most importantly, as a husband and father. In other words, as whole person.
