Jorge A. Cordero has over twenty-seven (27) years of experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical devices, and municipality industries in technical services and management areas, including validation, engineering specification, and equipment design specification. He has been a speaker for thirteen (13) years for worldwide organizations such as International Validation Technology (IVT) and KENX, presenting in multiple locations including the USA, Canada, and Europe.
His major areas of expertise include commissioning and equipment qualification, process validation, CSV, cleaning validation, implementation of risk-based approaches, aseptic process simulations, air visualization, temperature mapping, and sterilization processes, among others.
Currently, Mr. Cordero is working with Bausch + Lomb as a Validation Manager. Previously, he was a member of the Bausch Health Validation Core Team, where he was responsible for overseeing and standardizing validation processes across Bausch Health facilities in the USA.
Mr. Cordero holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (BSChE) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Global Management.
