John Kelly is a former federal healthcare fraud prosecutor, experienced trial attorney, and Managing Partner of the firm’s Washington D.C. office.  John represents companies and executives in internal investigations, government and congressional investigations, criminal prosecutions, and civil litigation in matters related to healthcare fraud and abuse including the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, as well as other regulatory and compliance issues.  John has been selected to serve as outside compliance and investigations counsel to a number of health systems and life sciences companies, including some that are subject to reporting requirements under a CIA.  John also has extensive experience in managed care conducting investigations and working with providers and plans to ensure compliant practices in the risk adjustment space.  John is Chambers ranked and listed as one of Washington, D.C.’s Super Lawyers.

John had a distinguished career as a federal prosecutor with the Department of Justice (DOJ) where he held a number of leadership positions, including:

Mara V.J. Senn is currently a Director & Senior Counsel, Global Compliance Investigations at Zimmer Biomet doing investigations all over the world focusing on Latin America.  She has previously been a Senior Investigator and Senior Litigation Specialist at the Integrity Vice Presidency at the World Bank investigating World Bank contractors who engaged in corruption, fraud and collusion; a federal corruption prosecutor at the Money Laundering and Asset Recovery Section of the Department of Justice, prosecuting and seizing assets from corrupt dictators and foreign leaders; and a white-collar partner at Arnold & Porter representing clients in FCPA investigations.
